A Boutique Wedding Planner – What does it mean?
“Boutique”
‘Small’, ‘Expensive’, ‘Limited’ are just a few words that spring to mind when the word boutique is used. But instead, I’d use the words ‘Exclusive’, ‘Personal’, ‘Customisable’, ‘Specialised’. Being ‘boutique’ is actually an amazing entity when you’re a wedding planner because it’s what stands Events by Keenda aside from the rest. It allows me to give my couples a unique and individual wedding tailored to their needs.

Wedding planning has finally taken off here in the UK with more couples realising that planning a wedding is a full-time job and seeking someone to help turn their dream ‘Pinterest Wedding’ into reality. But with more planners popping up, it’s a job to know which wedding planner is most suited to your needs.
Being a boutique wedding planner sets me apart from many other planners. But how do you know if a boutique wedding planner is what you need? Read on to see how I differ. If I tick your boxes… I’d love to hear from you!

Exclusive
Going hand in hand with exclusivity is quality and whether this means an exclusive venue, having a new product that hasn’t launched in the market yet since it’s something only wedding planners are aware of or obtaining a sought-after supplier, I will help make your wedding exclusive.
Personal
One of the first things I ask my couples is “what’s important to you?” After all, it’s your wedding so it’s my job to create a wedding that is as unique as you are and personal to your relationship. Seeking inspiration from Pinterest and Instagram is always helpful but where I differ is that I use those trends and ideas as inspiration, not gospel. I add personal touches and in turn, I create a wedding completely unique to you.

Customisable
A boutique wedding planner has an array of well-styled weddings in their portfolio. Every element of the day is thought about from a guests’ perspective. From the moment they walk through the door to the touches they see throughout the day to represent your couple style. As much as I take on trends, it’s your day and that will shine through for you and guests to see.
Specialised
I am specialised in my field. I’m not Google and when you ask me for supplier recommendations, I won’t be churning out options just because they’re available. I know the best suppliers in each field so if you’re looking for a fine art photographer I’ll present you with the options perfectly suited to your budget, that match your style, has experience shooting in weddings similar to the one you’re creating and more importantly, a photographer that because I’ve met and worked with, I know you’ll mesh with!

Of course, I still offer all the services you’d expect from a wedding planner- budgets, timelines, guest list advice, accommodation, and transport management but these aren’t things that set me apart. If you want a truly unique wedding. One that guests will talk about for years to come because it was so personal to your style. One that you will remember forever. Then look no further than a boutique wedding planner- we’re worth the weight in gold.
