A passionate wedding and event planner; ambitious self starter, making my dreams come true with Events by Keenda.
‘Do what you love and love what you do!’ is exactly why I am in this business, for the sheer love of weddings and events with the ability to visualise ideas into reality. My logo features the Lao national flower ‘Dok Champa’ an evocative tropical flower, which most importantly represents ‘sincerity and joy in life.’ This is the exact mantra that Events by Keenda swears by to ensure we create that unique and unforgettable event you have always dreamed of.
I am a wanderlust, acroyogi, dancer, boss babe who loves spending time with my friends and family. A self confessed foodie and firm believer of gin o’clock and afternoon tea, I have a wild heart and gypsy soul and tend to lean towards the boho vibes.
With 10 years experience and a diploma in events management I have a sizeable portfolio of events under my belt. My expertise spans from organising conferences, exhibitions, courses, literary events to social events, themed parties, dinners, charity galas and royal college balls.
2012 was a great game changer for me, as my internship with Style and Elegance Wedding and Event Coordination in Canada helped me realise my calling into the wedding world.
So here I am now running my own wedding business, loving very minute! I am so lucky to combine my love of travel and events by doing destination weddings which has so far taken me to Europe, Africa and the Caribbean.
Love is not bound by borders, plus I love collecting stamps in my passport!
More joy, less overwhelm!
Book me so I can take care of all the wedmin and filter out the hassle and share all the good bits with you.
It’s about you, your partner and your love for another.
I concentrate on planning a wedding that is unique to you, a memorable day for you as a couple as well as for your guests.
So if you are the non-traditional, creative and open minded type who enjoys good company, good food, and generally good vibes then we are a match! It is all in the finishing touches for me, from the smallest detail to the grandest gesture.
We want all our clients to ‘love the moment’ so go on, let us do that for you!
Because everyone deserves that one special day, we are registered as a sponsored supplier of Wedding Wishing Well Foundation.
Their sole purpose is organising and funding weddings for terminally ill people, and who needs a better reason than that to be part of this wonderful organisation.
I feel blessed to have grown up here but my parents home country Laos is still inundated with unexploded bombs. So to do my bit, I will be donating a percentage of my wedding fees to MAG (Mines Advisory Group) every year. So the more clients I get, the more bombs we clear!
