Boho Luxe Intimate Wedding at Paradise

Welcome to the first post in the Keenda loves series!
I am excited to share this beautiful boho luxe ‘Fruit of Love’ styled shoot which has already been featured in both Coco wedding venues and Magpie wedding blogs. The colours are just divine and this venue is absolutely perfect for an intimate wedding for the stylish modern couple.

Pomegranates
The pomegranates are definitely the stars of this show, which is why the shoot is entitled “Fruit of Love.” They are rich in colour and jewel like and it’s early relationship to romance stems from a belief that the first pomegranate tree was planted by Aphrodite, who is the goddess of love. The first reference to the fruit was in a romantic poem The Flower Song, composed around 1500 BC:
To hear your voice is pomegranate wine to me: I draw life from hearing it.
Could I see you with every glance,
It would be better for me
Than to eat or to drink.

The Venue
This venue is a hidden gem in London which has interiors that lends itself to the boho luxe vibe perfectly. Rich and decadent in decor, I want to show you how you can embrace this and create an ethereal world with an eclectic mix of modern elements and authentic bohemian style.
This boho luxe wedding style highlights opulence with a strong colour palette of purple, gold, burgundy, navy, dusky pink and black, which works harmoniously with the venue’s backdrop highlighting the bold colours and textures, complimenting the shabby chic and boudoir vibes running through the rooms.

Paradise by Way of Kensal Green features fire places, hanging lanterns, wall mural, rustic mirrors and a gothic garden with each space having it’s distinct characteristics to create these stunning boho luxe set ups, all beautifully captured by Sophie Lake Photography.

The Boho Luxe Bride
This sexy unique bride rocks two wedding dresses from ceremony to the evening party.
The Cordelia dress is luxurious lace with embellished beading is by haute couture bridal designer Riki Dalal from the ‘Noya’ Shakespeare Collection. It is a beautiful dress full of romance with a bit of edge, perfectly paired with this bespoke ‘Wifey’ hand painted calligraphy jacket made by Michelle from Scritto.

Made for twirling on the dance floor, this dress is for the more fun and flirty boho bride. The Galatea from Willowby by Watters La Luna Collection is simply gorgeous. A

These two gorgeous bridal looks were created by hair and makeup artist Storme Makeup, who uses a completely laid back and free spirited style of enhancing the bride’s natural beauty.
The luxury bridal accessories used were the Thalia crown for the hair down and the Lena hair vines for the up do, both creating a stunning effortless look for our boho luxe bride. They were handcrafted with love from eden b. Studio with her designs being inspired by the beautiful botanicals of the English countryside.
The Boho Luxe Groom
The groom’s attire from David’s Formal Wear is a chic navy blue suit with a tweed waist coat and simple button hole. This boho look is great for the laid-back groom.

The Boho Luxe Couple
There is definitely love in the air here with this couple and their fashionable attire and I must say I love the leather jacket with bridal wear trend. I think it will always be timeless to me!

The Boho Luxe Details
My styling is a mish mash of contemporary pieces and bohemian adornments. For a modern twist, I added the use of geometric shapes by incorporating the hexagon ceremony backdrop and candle holders on the dinner table from Party Squared.

I love using Classic Crockery for their non-traditional pieces. The dinner table consisted of an ornate charger plate with midnight blue plates and gold cutlery, tied with Kate Cullen silk ribbons. For contrast, I used mis-matching glassware and the finishing touches are in the details of the place setting; a hand calligraphy place card from White Olive Designs.
The dessert table
In the conservatory I set up the dessert table from Malarkey Cakes. The backdrop is a fantastic exposed brick wall with a rustic mirror and some hanging ivy. For an extra boho luxe feel, I added a macramé backdrop in deep blue and black from Half Hitch Macramé.

The flowers
Bailey & Blossom designed some beautiful florals, even incorporating a gold pomegranate in the bouquet. As purple is my favourite colour, I went for a variety of blooms in various shades of this hue.

That’s a wrap! I just absolutely love Paradise by Way of Kensal Green and I hope you have been inspired by my boho luxe shoot to try your own styling and planning there. (or just give me a shout and we can chat about me being your wedding planner!)
If you are looking to have a boho luxe intimate wedding from the ceremony (which they are licensed for) through to the dinner and after party! I would definitely recommend this place with each room having it’s own personality which can be it can be bespoke to each couple’s individuality.
